iChEM graduate students recruitment
Collaborative Innovation Center of Chemistry for Energy Materials, abbreviated to as “iChEM”, was established jointly by Xiamen University (XMU), Fudan University (FDU), the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), under the framework of the “Collaborative Innovation Program” or “2011-Program” of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ministry of Finance of China (MOF). The “2011-Program”, launched in 2011 after the well-known National “211-Program” and “985-Program”. The purposes of the iChEM are to take full advantages of the strength in chemistry and materials sciences of the four core institutions to perform energy materials-oriented cutting-edge chemistry research and meanwhile to train young generation of research excellence.
In order to better carry out the requirements initiated by the "2011-Program", the iChEM plans to continue to select the outstanding students with prominent innovative and cooperative consciousness from the graduate student candidates already enrolled into the graduate school of the four core members of the iChEM. Those selected graduate students will enter the “iChEM Graduate Student Training Program” upon approval by the selection committee after selection process of application screening, interviews, and determination of final candidates. We will provide a platform for sharing equipment, information, and high-quality research resources of the involved institutions of the center for the successful candidates to make outstanding academic achievements.
