RESEARCH INTERESTS

Her group is pursuing cutting-edge research at four major frontiers: solid state chemistry, nanotechnology, energy science and theoretical physics. Her group is especially interested in the following topics, including (1) phase transition behavior and functionality of strongly correlated electron systems, such as transition metal oxides and chalcogenides; (2)structural design, controllable synthesis, property and theoretic study of low-dimensional inorganic functional nanostructures; (3) new fabrication approaches, functionality and energy device construction of atomically-thick semiconductor graphene analogous.
