British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne has announced it will invest to set up Alan Turing Institute, cell therapy manufacturing center and graphene innovation center in the next five years, the subsidy amount was 42 million pounds, 5500 million pounds and 19 million pounds. These three areas have been in the past 18 months and universities and science minister David Willetts Osborne repeatedly mentioned, and these three research institutions will also become part of the catapult center network in the UK.
The government funded the establishment of graphene innovation center in the UK Sedgefield, in the process of innovation centers, based on the commitment to provide equipment to SMEs entrance to supporting their research and development of graphene-based products.

Although the next two years, the British public R & D investment and significant growth will not occur, but its investment in scientific infrastructure and architecture puts steady growth.
