On September 23, the first iChEM discussion meeting of research associates (1), iChEM Fellows (6) and Ph.D students (9) was held in the Ea Cafeteria. The iChEM directors, Prof. Zhong-Qun Tian and Prof. Pei-Qiang Huang, the Secretary of Party Committee of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (CCCE) of XMU, Mr. Hui Lin, the Vice Dean of CCCE, Prof. Youzhu Yuan, the director of iChEM Office of Human Resources, Prof. Hai-Ping Xia, and the Chair of Chemistry Department, Prof. Xin Lu participated in the meeting and answered the questions that the young talents concerned: courses and credits setup, advisor selection, forum and routine meeting setup, etc.

Finally, all the people in the meeting agreed that it is necessary and efficient to have such discussion meeting every other week in order to construct a bridge between our researchers and leaders of the Center.
