Congratulations to Professor Yong Yang of becoming the associate editor of the Journal of Power Sources

Recently, iChEM researcher Professor Yong Yang has been invited to serve the position of associate editor of the Journal of Power Sources. In 2014, the impact factor of the journal was 5.21, which is currently one of the most popular journals in the field of battery. It is reported that Prof Yang is honored to be the first Chinese scientist to take up this position in this journal.

Professor Yong Yang is currently a distinguished Professor of Minjiang project in Xiamen University. His research mainly focuses on lithium-ion battery materials and in-situ characterization techniques. He made outstanding results on new electrode materials and in-situ characterization techniques (such as X- ray absorption spectroscopy and solid NMR techniques).

Most recently, Professor Yong Yang won the 2014 Technology Award from the International Battery Association for his significant contributions to battery research and technology development in the field of polyanionic Li-ion battery composite cathode materials. Since 2015, he has been elected as a member for the Board of International Association.

The Journal of Power Sources:
