Congratulations to Prof. Yi Xie on winning the "Women in Science Award"

PR Newswire, UNESCO and Sciencenet states that five Exceptional Women are honored for Their Ground-Breaking Discoveries in the Physical Sciences.


We proudly announce that our iChEM researcher, Prof Yi Xie from USTC is one among them.


Prof. Yi Xie is the fourth Chinese women scientist getting the "Women in Science Award". "Women in Science Award" was jointly established by UNESCO and the French L'Oreal Group. Five women who made outstanding contributions to scientific progress were selected each year from all over the world. The awards are designed to honor the outstanding achievements made by women scientists and to provide supports for their scientific research.


UNESCOPRESS claims that Prof. Xie is being honored this award for her significant contributions in inorganic chemistry. Prof. Xie is the Associate Editor of Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers. Her work will greatly contribute to lessening pollution and boosting energy efficiency, and will open promising prospects for the future.
