"Tunable InfraRed Laser for Fundamentals of Energy Chemistry", organized by iChEM Professor Shi-Gang Sun, is the national major plan in research and development of scientific instrument and equipment applied by such four iChEM members as XMU, FDU, USTC, and DICP. It was identified by MOE. In order to facilitate the implementation of the project, the inaugural ceremony of Engineering headquarter and discussion meeting of the “InfraRed Free Electron Laser” was held at National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory in USTC on November 21, 2014.
The meeting was hosted by Party-Secretary Yangchao Tian of the National Synchrotron Radiation laboratory (NSRL) at USTC. Director Xisheng Luo of the Science and Research Department (SRD) at USTC, Director Yalin Lu of NSRL, Deputy Director Riquan Lai of Science and Technology Department at XMU, and Prof. Shigang Sun of Principal Investigator of this project participated the meeting and discussed the detailed plan for Engineering Headquarter setup, progress of each experimental station, and problems of research space and instrument parameters that need to be solved as soon as possible.
