On Dec 7, 2015, CAS announced the results of MCAS election which comprised of 61 new national MCAS and 12 new International MCAS members added. Among the 61 national members, iChEM professor, Shi-Gang Sun is one of them. Also, nine members were selected from the department of chemistry for this year. On the same day, CAE announced the results of MCAE election which comprised of 70 new MCAE members with 9 of them from the department of Chemical & Material Engineering. Prof. Zhongmin Liu, one of the iChEM academic committee members has been elected as MCAE this year.
