On 12^th -13^th September 2015, the Current situation and future development of fullerene forum was held at USTC. This forum was organized by iChEM, Chemistry College and Materials Science and Engineering College of USTC, CSA key laboratory of materials for energy conversion. Experts, scholars and enterprise researchers, over 170 people, focusing on the area of fullerene, carbon nanotubes, graphene and graphene attended the forum. The main theme of this forum is the development and opportunities of fullerenes and other carbon nano-materials. It was composed of 12 reports delivered by CAS members and “Outstanding Youth” researchers and two symposiums to celebrate the 30 years of fullerene discovery. Participants paid full attention to these reports, and they discussed a lot concerning the further application about these carbon materials, indicating the full participation and good response from all the members and the audience respectively.

The successful conveyance of this forum promoted exchanging ideas of domestic experts, scholars and researchers in the field of carbon nano-materials, also it made further strong cooperation among different institutions.
