The Organization Committee and Collaborative Innovation Center of Chemistry for Energy Materials (iChEM) welcome you to attend "The 2nd International Symposium on Energy Conversion and Storage" to exchange new ideas and discuss the advances in all areas of energy conversion and storage. Prof. Yi Cui at Stanford University and Prof. Nanfeng Zheng at Xiamen University are co-organizing this symposium.
The symposium, which is organized in Gordon Conference style, will be held in Xiamen University on June 15-17, 2016. All speakers are invited by the organization committee. Well-known scientists, such as Prof. Peidong Yang (Univ. of California-Berkeley), Prof. Zhongfan Liu (Peking Univ.), Prof. Yang Yang (UCLA), and Prof. Jun Liu (Pacific Northwest National Laboratory), have accepted our invitation as keynote speakers. Invited keynote speakers will give 40-min presentations. At the end of each presentation, there will be 20-minute discussion involving both the speaker and the audience. Invited young investigator speakers will give 20-min presentations followed by 10-min discussion for each.
At the afternoon and evening of June 16, there will be poster and reception sessions. All attendees will be able to partake in discussions with our invited speakers in a relaxed style. We welcome poster submissions from researchers, and students. Excellent posters will be selected for Best Poster Awards during the poster session. The awardees will have chance to give 5-10 min talks on the selected poster on June 17.
To make the discussions more intense and productive, the number of attendees is limited to 200.
