报告摘要:

Bimetallic alloy nanocrystals, with unique ensemble and ligand effects, have received increasing attention for applications in catalysis. Inspired by their structure-sensitive properties for bimetallic alloy nanocrystals, precise manipulation of their size, shape and composition is necessary but challenging. Seeded growth, with the absence of homogeneous nucleation, is a typical approach to fabricate desired bimetallic alloy nanocrystals during which their geometry and symmetry can be effectively manipulated. Our group focuses on rational design, controllable synthesis, and structure-function relationship studies of bimetallic alloy nanocrystals with different structures. This presentation will illustrate investigations and examples, in which the synthesis of bimetallic alloy nanocrystals with certain morphologies provides new nanoscale platforms for catalysis.

专家介绍:

曾杰,中国科学技术大学教授、博士生导师,,国家重大科学研究计划青年专项首席科学家。研究领域为纳米催化,包括设计和构筑新一代用于石油化工和燃料电池等多个领域的催化剂体系,揭示催化反应中能量的传递方式及催化剂表面构相变化过程等。已在SCI刊物上发表论文77篇,论文总共被引用4000余次,H因子为30。其中有多篇第一作者或通信作者文章发表在Nature Nanotech.、Nature Commun.、J. Am. Chem. Soc.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Nano Lett.和Adv. Mater.上,并多次被《人民日报》、《人民日报(海外版)》、《光明日报》、《科技日报》等国内媒体关注。已申请美国专利4项,获中国专利13项,出版书籍两部。
