近日，中心研究人员夏永姚教授、杨勇教授受邀担任国际电池界的重要刊物 J Power Sources 的副主编(Associate Editor)，该刊物2014年度的影响因子为 5.21, 是目前电池领域引用次数最多的期刊之一。据悉这也是中国科学家首次出任该职务。

夏永姚教授现受聘为复旦大学特聘教授、厦门大学兼职教授，他所带领的团队1990年开始一直从事锂电池、电容器研究。近年来在新型储能材料和储能技术的基础和应用开发研究，包括锂离子电池、电化学电容器和燃料电池等领域，取得了不少重要研发成果。国家自然科学杰出青年基金获得者，中国电化学专业委员会副主任委员。《电化学》、《化学学报》、《电源技术》和《化学与物理电源系统》杂志编委, 并当选Editorial Board Member of J. Power Sources。

杨勇教授现任厦门大学闽江计划特聘教授，他所在的课题组长期从事锂离子电池材料及其原位表征技术研究，近年来在新型电极材料及其电化学反应过程原位表征技术（如原位电化学微分质谱、X-射线吸收谱技术及其固体核磁技术）等研究领域取得突出成绩，多次应邀在重要国际学术会议上做邀请报告。基于他的研究成绩，杨勇教授 2014年荣获国际电池材料协会（International Battery Materials Association，简称IBA）技术成就奖（Technology award）。2015年起，当选为该协会的国际理事会成员（Board Member）。
